Eligibility Criteria for Financial Support Scheme (FSS)

The scheme caters to full-time bonafide UG/PG students enrolled in Delhi University programs under specific categories:

  1. Family Income <= Rs 4 lakh per annum:
    • Fee Waiver: Up to 100% (actual fee or maximum Rs 10,000).
  2. Family Income between Rs 4 lakh and Rs 8 lakh per annum:
    • Fee Waiver: Up to 50% (actual fee or maximum Rs 8,000).

Application Deadline and Details

  • Application Deadline: January 10, 2024, until 5 pm.
  • Fee Waiver Inclusions: Covers all fee components except examination fee and hostel fee at Delhi University.

Documents Required for Application:

  1. Self-attested copies of EWS/OBC-NCL Certificate or Annual Family Income Certificate (issued by competent authority post-March 31, 2023).
  2. Self-attested copies of Income Tax Returns (2022-23) of specific family members.
  3. Self-attested copy of Pan cards of family members.
  4. Duly signed undertaking by the applicant.
  5. Signed bonafide certificate by the Head/Director of the Department/Institute (format available on http://www.dsw.du.ac.in).
  6. Self-attested copy of the last exam passed mark sheet.
  7. Latest Fee Receipt copy.
  8. Bank Passbook copy reflecting the Student’s Name, Account Number, and IFSC code, or a Cancelled Cheque.

Ineligible Categories for Application:

Students pursuing BTech programs (Computer Science & Engineering; Electronics & Computer Engineering; Electrical Engineering) under the Faculty of Technology and those enrolled in the five-year integrated law program (BA LLB/BBA LLB) are ineligible due to prior fee waivers granted during admission.
