UGC NET 2023: UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar on Friday announced the dates for the exam. The cycle will be conducted from June 13 to 22, 2023 and registration for December 2022 session are already underway.

UGC Chairman tweeted, “Release of the Dates for UGC NET June 2023 Cycle: UGC NET is conducted twice every year by National Testing Agency (NTA) in June & December every year. This is to inform the prospective applicants that the first UGC NET June 2023 Cycle will be conducted from 13 to 22 June 2023.”
Professor M Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman, UGC has informed, “For further clarification and latest updates regarding the examination dates and other information, the Candidates are advised to visit http://nta.ac.in and concerned website of the above-mentioned examinations.”
A day earlier on Thursday, December 29, 2022, the UGC chief had announced the exam dates for the UGC NET JRF December 2022 session. Along with this, the application process for the December phase had also started.

- Submission of Online Application Form: From December 29, 2022
- Last date for online application: January 17, 2023, by 5 pm
- Exam Dates: February 21, 2023, to March 10, 2023
